High flow / high performance air filter suggestions - 2.3L

Looking for recommendations on "high performance" air filters for the stock air box. I really don't want to purchase a CAI... Looking for a great quality and higher flowing filter compared to oem. Thanks!

K&n or S&B.

I put in the s&B. I don’t think there is any noticeable difference in performance. But the construction of the filter is much better than OEM.

I’ve been running a K&N for about a year now. Can’t say if any improvements but like stated above way better than stock.

you can blow out stuff but not really cleanable. I think it’s called extendable.

I thought id give it a try after seeing how miserable the oem filter is and that I deal with a lot of dust.

I would say the results are mixed. I didnt seem to have much dust in the filter although my truck was covered on my last Baja trip.
