I live in the desert so most of dirt miles are dirt roads at around 50 mph average. I still have my tires at 39 psi cold. The ride at speed is good enough in the dirt. Almost all dirt road stuff is in Baja mode. I run 91 oct from the pump.

The RR (Rowdy) is stock height and it will remain so so my mid to late 80's folks can still get in.

Groomed dirt roads is almost like driving pavement. I've done90 mph on it no problem.

Slightly rocky dirt roads I try to stay below 60 mph. This mostly what I do. It's great stress reflief and fun. Usually I average 50 mph. I still have the stock tires and wheels with no transmission skid and the stock T-Case skid. I do have an aftermarket engine, fuel tank, trailing arm sensor guard, Shock skids, rear diff skid & rear lower control arm frame guard. I'm waiting on the trans and t-case skids I want to be available. I really believe it is easy to "outrun" the front of this truck. I believe I can push it hard enough to bend stuff in the front end. I need get the mounting points stiffened up. You can easily out run the stock lights in the dark.

Tight trails (no rock crawling yet because of lack of skids.) Rowdy works fine. It crawls off camber very well. The front and rear lockers work well and were easy to engage quickly in a situation where the comfort level was higher with them engaged. So I don't have an issue with it. I would prefer buttons tho. The trans gets hot at low speed work in 108 degree heat easily.

My original plan was to get a Wildtrak Bronco. When i realized my folks couldn't get in it I lucked into a Ranger Raptor. Then I was going to add a Bronco to the RR. Now I have no real need to get a Bronco. 35's or 37's and full skids will most likely cure the rock crawling portion once I get all of the plastic sh!t replaced or protected.

The stock power is good.

Full skids, bump stops, trans and hopefully engine oil coolers and catch can system are in the future,

For the record I would have gladly paid more for metal oil and transmission pans Ford.

I've owned my Ranger Raptor for just over a week and it now has 3400 miles on it after returning from visiting Family.

Kinda curious about the miles of your Ranger 2024. leave a number on comment!
I got my lariat FX4 the end of April and I just passed 5000 miles with a couple long trips and hauling our micro Minnie Winnie to 2 music festivals. Just had the 5K oil change. It’s a very nice vehicle.
