How Many Miles When Added Pro Cal Tune?

I am likely an echo from others. But here is what I have noticed. Torque is the biggest thing I felt right away.

The shifting holds longer in Normal mode and way longer in sport. I noticed a slightly deeper tone in the exhaust (I always run that in Sport on my R settings). but that could be in my head.

Time will tell what it does to my milage but I didn't buy the truck as an efficiency vehicle so not too worried, the wife has a tesla so my conscience is clear lol.

I will say, I have been running 93 in my truck since day 1. If you haven't made the switch yet do so, that way when the tune goes in you already have a tank of premium and not a mixture.

Ordered the 11th from Lethal Performance & arrived today the 13th.

I’m limited to 91 in Arizona unfortunately but regardless I intend to use nothing less than that before or after the tune.

now just need to call around and see which dealer can install for me and how low they’ll charge.

Currently have just under 2500 and will do an oil change and load the tune this weekend. I've had the tune waiting for a few weeks waiting on the first oil change.

While I have the oil drained I'm installing the RONIN Drain Plug replacement.

I don't think so, there may be a firmware update to the pro-cal unit but I think the tune itself is still the same.

I spoke to 2 different dealerships in 2 different states and both said the same thing. Just create an account on Ford Performance, register the procal and do the install yourself. Just make sure the battery level doesn't go lower than the required specs. Basically they said to use a battery tender during the install.

That's correct. It takes several months for them to complete certification.
I'm still waiting for the 2024 2.7 performance calibration.
