I also went the same route with the Vibrant 1141s and am happy with the results. I wish the shop I used in Houston would have done a little better job with placement as they are a little more visible than I would prefer.

exactly. Suspension first, Engine second. same as me.

The exhaust sound was ALWAYS a deterrent, but i was hopeful the quiet mode would be enough. It is half the time, the other half i really find myself annoyed.

I do a lot of hunting and road trips camping offroad. Starting up a loud vehicle in the morning that disrupts the quiet just hurts my soul.

It still starts louder for maybe a minute when set to start in quiet mode. Someone said it may be for emissions.

The high idle on start-up is for emissions, the goal is to heat the cats quickly. At least on the RR it is only for maybe 30 seconds, one of my cars lasts for 90 seconds, seems like forever.
