Would be interesting to see someone selling an exhaust in the US with an equal length trombone. 1 company in AUS doing it. Manta. All the videos ive seen of it with the equal length exhaust sound great. Almost like a GTR

The Ranger Raptor demographic usually is interested in modifications and has excess disposable income.

The base Ranger buyer usually doesn’t. It’s like Delta vs Spirit Airlines.
Wow, that's a pretty incorrect statement there bucko. Some people just don't see any benefit to Ranger Raptors, or Maverick Tremors. Besides, I usually fly Alaska, WAY nicer flights than Delta. :like:

So, looking at some data points - the Raptor model is essentially the exact market composition aftermarket companies are looking to sell their products to……especially after sinking R&D costs into their products….

“Based on recent data, the Ford Ranger Raptor is positioned as a premium, high-performance lifestyle vehicle, attracting a demographic with high disposable income, often skewing younger than the traditional midsize truck buyer, despite the "Raptor" brand generally appealing to a wide age range

.
Income and Financial Profile
  • High Household Income: Purchasers often reside in dual-income households with annual incomes frequently exceeding $150,000 to $250,000.
  • High Monthly Payments: Due to a starting MSRP of roughly $57,000 (often higher with dealer markups), many buyers commit to monthly payments exceeding $1,000.
  • Premium Pricing: The vehicle is considered a "top-tier" or "lifestyle" purchase, attracting similar buyers to luxury brands, with some data suggesting Ranger Raptor buyers are willing to pay for off-road performance features like Fox shocks.
Demographic and Lifestyle Data
  • Age: While the base Ford Ranger traditionally appeals to a median age of 58, the Raptor sub-brand generally attracts a younger demographic, including buyers in their 30s to early 40s who prioritize performance, technology, and off-road capability.”

Wow, and since I in the process or ordering a 2026 Raptor R in Ruby Red, your demographics data, and your statement, is just flat not correct, and pretty assumptious.
😂 I didn’t make up the RANGER RAPTOR data bucko. I’m sure you’re raptor R will look good in the Alaska Airlines terminal parking. Wish they offered that Red on the Ranger Raptor!

Everybody, thank you! The survey actually received the maximum number of respondents we had set it to allow. I will be removing the link for now, please feel free to add your thoughts in this thread as we move this project into the preproduction & design stage. 😎🚀

I would like to see a very old school side exhaust . That comes out right at the back of the trucks cab or just at the front end of the trucks bed . Which ever would be legal In 2026 . and it must look like it’s I do exhaust pipe on each side !

In texas, as long as it comes out behind the rear most opening window, side exit pipes are legal.

Inhad myn79nchevy stepside exit that way with straight pipes. It was awesome

I responded to the survey, but have a few thoughts to add. I really like the AWE offering for the Bronco Raptor and hope this product ends up with similar construction, including turndown tips. I mentioned in the survey that I’d like the quiet mode to be more free flowing. To expand on that, I‘d also like a greater volume spread than the stock exhaust. It would be great if quiet mode is just as quiet, if not quieter, with Baja mode being louder than stock. Performance across the modes would be my goal—just as much flow and performance as there is in Baja…

Equal length trombone with stock valve and make it sound like a GTR35,Pay attention to the sound level when installing a downpipe, as it becomes very loud.

Thank you for asking for owner input! I wish more businesses would do the same. Sorry I missed the actual survey window.

I have the 2.7l, and in my ideal world my exhaust would sound as close as possible to the Coyote V8 at startup/idle and under acceleration (deep, loping rumble), while disappearing entirely when cruising. I absolutely detest any exhaust that sounds raspy.

Thanks again for asking.
