Really tempted on ordering the COBB one but my subconscious tells me to wait after first service ? Is it the bronco one you got on? Any fitment issues with the shroud or fins?No problem at all; I had calipers on my work bench and the old intercooler on a shelf in the garage.
I replaced it with one from COBB, and I’ve been really happy with the swap. it’s amazing how fast the IAT drops when you start moving.
COBB had it listed for the RR, but there was a CARB sticker for the BR in the box, so I guess everyone has figured out that those parts are interchangeable. The installation was stupid easy; it literally took me longer to take off the skid plate than to replace the intercooler. The heat transfer is really excellent with the COBB intercooler. The temps climb when you’re idling, but they drop like a rock when you’re moving. At the speed limit(er), I was running two degrees over ambient for over 30 minutes.
