Installed Borla S-Type dual exhaust on my 2.3L

Just put on the Borla S-Type dual exhaust with black chrome tips for my 2.3L Ranger.

Local muffler shop installed, the fit was perfect. Sounds deeper and more aggressive but not too loud (unless cold start). No drone at highway speeds. Looks great with the same-side exit and black tips.

Cold Air Intake and tune is next, however I am getting mixed reviews on here from putting on purchasing a CAI.

For those who have the Ford performance tune - please let me know your experience with it.

Had this on my 22 2.3L Ranger.
It sounds horrible in person.
When you have the FP Tune and CAI it drones horribly!
I couldn’t rip it off fast enough!

To each their own. I personally would never put an aftermarket exhaust on a 4 cylinder. V8s only!

Well I guess that I would say that a Borla on any engine will last orders of magnitude longer than stock No exhaust mods for 4 cylinders line up behind the CAI haters. I guess that those with RRaptors should take off their stock systems and replace with some sort of non-stainless, single 2" piped system.....

sounds like a riced Ford Focus st or rs. still like it. curious what it sounds like at operating temp when accelerating
