2024 Ford Ranger Raptor for sale on BaT Auctions - ending May 6 (Lot #145,829) | Bring a Trailer

You knew it was inevitable, someone would put a new delivery on BAT to see what the market is. Betting it will go over sticker, by how much who knows. Remember BAT charges 5% up to a max of 5K based upon vehicle auction price. So lets say sticker is 58K - the buyer would pay an addition 2900 to BAT for the auction. If it goes for 5K over (63K + 3150 for BAT) the cost without sales tax would be 66,150.

I have purchased a car on BAT - great experience and have had the car for over 5 years.

Not that it will come into play on this one, but I recently noticed BaT increased the max buyer fee to $7,500.

Good catch. Alot of high end machinery so I get the bump in fees. So the top stop is now 150K auction price.

All I noticed was that crooked Raptor decal on the driver's side.
lol, now I gotta go check mine when I get back into town. I figured they had a jig for this, but doesn't look like it.

May be a good opportunity for someone to buy under MSRP - Hope for the buyers sake it doesn't go crazy over since this is just a regular no-option raptor.

Currently at 41K. BAT activity usually gets to 60-80% of the "price" by day 6 and the rest comes at the end of the bidding process. Every new bid resets the clock 2 minutes so it can be fun to watch. 4 days to go. Get your popcorn ready.

I am guessing it'll go for within $1k of MSRP, plus the auction fee. I just saw a (very rare) blue GR Corolla Premium RNM'ed at $40k (under sticker) after those things were routinely fetching markups for the first year or so.

These trucks will follow that trend; no matter how cool they are or how positive the reviews are, only a handful of people are willing to be upside down on a vehicle to be "first." Especially since so many people are already securing them at MSRP and the markups seem to be averaging $2-5k, there isn't some massive equity play in flipping your order like there was with the early price protected Broncos.

I wouldn't be surprised if this one fails to surpass MSRP or maybe just barely does by someone who wants the clout of buying the "first one on Bring a Trailer."

I just hope Ford doesn't raise the MSRP to "match" Toyota's asinine pricing in coming years... Maybe they're learning their lesson watching dealerships have to put cash on the hood to move the bloated pricing Braptors.

now at 50K with 3 days left. My guess is auction price of 2K over. plus the 3K in fees.

I swear BAT is a front for money laundering with some of the crazy sale prices I've seen on there. Or maybe it's just the thrill of winning, like a gambling addict, is what's driving those prices. So I'm betting it goes for some ridiculous price over MSRP. Should be fun to watch.

And the answer is! The high bid was $57,500, but the reserve was not met. So it was sticker plus the 5% but the reserve must have been higher than the total of $60,375. I've seen BAT help cover the spread to get transactions completed so that leads me to think that.

Highest bid was basically MSRP+Fees, but didn't hit reserve. I hope anyone who paid over MSRP on these trucks can afford to light that money on fire.

Read that the seller refused to go through with the sale. Hanging on for any opportunity to squeeze adm out of somebody. With 25’s no doubt on the horizon and several msrp trucks available, they may be left holding the bag.
