So how was Ranger Scool? Should we finally be excited for Fords latest entry into the midsize truck market??! If not it looks like we might have some solid options coming soon from Toyota.

Ford better come out of the gate swinging with more than just a Raptor and a Ecoboost engine, otherwise this thing is going to fall flat on its face! Just saying with the new Tacoma being reveled on the 18th I would hope Ford won't let Toyota steal all their thunder!

I would be really surprised/disappointed if we didn't get something like a 2.7 or a manual transmission. They developed the platform to handle it with the Bronco and the Ranger has always historically had a big 6 that overlaps with the F150's entry level engine like the Cologne vs Essex.

While all of the information about truck, options, etc are under embargo, what do we know about when the dealers will start to get information? Are they going to get an idea of their allocation on May 10th as well? I was planning to start hitting the phone book to try to find a dealer willing to sell at MSRP (even if I have to impromptu road trip to do it) but I don't want to waste mine and their time if they're unlikely to have those answers yet.

It sounds like serious buyers need to have a filled out order physically at the dealer's desk first thing in the morning the day the order banks open right?

Will I be able to buy what I see?
Ford is unable to fulfill many Bronco orders and Ranger shares the same assembly plant.
What volume is being allocated to Ranger? What are we going to see for Raptor allocations to dealers?
