From what I've read it is an typical cost saving measure that "should have been" designed into the bed. Most people buy a pickup or "truck" for the bed to haul stuff. Not just groceries! It SHOULD be a recall that Ford stands behind. JMO for the price of the vehicle it should be included. Obviously not all that "Ford Tough"

I understand the original 6G bed was not rated to support more than 88lbs. However, once the Ford OEM J Braces are installed, what is the new rating? I cannot find this stat anywhere.
