Just ordered a raptor at msrp- how long till it arrives?

After calling a million dealerships I was able to get one to sell me this Ranger raptor at MSRP. Every dealer is $10k over msrp.

However, their next allocation is may. That’s just when they send the order in. From all the dealers I’ve talked to it sounds like the 2025 won’t be available until the end of 2026 or even 2027.

I got a great deal $57k on this but don’t want to wait 2years. Think it’s worth it?

If they get the allocation in May, I'm going to guess late summer early fall for delivery. Unless there is some type of supply chain / quality hold issue. The Ranger / Bronco plant was suppose to start production again in late January. I recently received my email from Ford (01/19/25) that they picked up my RR order (Dealer did not have an allocation when I ordered on 12/4/24) and are in the process of scheduling for production. I hope to get build date in the next couple of weeks. Good luck with your order.

Ordered my 2025 RR 10/17/24. 12/5/24 FMC order update of a production date slated to begin 2/24/25. Keep in mind that schedules can shift. Most dealerships I encountered in Indiana have dropped the dealer markups.

Good luck on them keeping their word on the price, many people have had problems with them having the price changed on delivery.

If they order your truck with their May allocation, I agree with late summer/early fall. Sadly, my experience was a dealer took my order minutes after the 2024 order bank opened, but used their only allocation for a stock order. Dunced me around and then had the gall to reach out to me when their truck came in. Luckily I had already found a truck elsewhere.

Good luck with your quest for a '25. If you don't want to wait, I've been seeing some new RR 2024's in Wisconsin, Mn, and Iowa for less than MSRP. Who know what may happen to the price "surcharge" for '25's if tariffs get added - the Ranger only has 8% US/Canadian parts content.

Places like autotrader can narrow things down, then one could eliminate the bait-switch dealers that try to make up for it with dealer add-ons.
I'm seeing 2025's advertised, but not vins/tracker info on any I checked. There are other threads related to ordering, etc with some good suggestions/strategies to find for

When a dealer places an order without an allocation, do you still get the order confirmed email from Ford or does that only happen when an order with an allocation is placed?

You do and follow-up e-mails every so often, but it doesn’t mean it will be built. No doubt a frustrating system for the consumer. Maybe they shouldn’t be able to take an order without an allocation. I’ve read posts from folks that ordered with multiple dealers and that has to be a headache for Ford.

You get an order confirmation from Ford, regardless of whether that dealer has an allocation or not.

I'm not sure what they are thinking because allocations are given on a monthly basis. They won't know if they get an allocation for May until then. We just found out our numbers for February Scheduling for April Production dates this last week. I'm not sure why they are saying 2026 or 2027. Even if they only get one allocation for 2025 model year and you are that allocation you should have it by the end of this calendar year.

Sounds like the dealer is trying to steer the buyer away from ordering a 2025 and into purchasing something else on the lot lol
