I like my KO'3 s except damp pavement. Will be work trying a set on the Scorpion XTM ATS next year. Going to check the weight per tire, always good to save tire weight.

Driving in snow and ice recently (up to around 30" of snow) and they work fine for me.

I've had many sets from the original All Terrains, KO2, KO3 mostly because they came on the vehicle. I hate them. Now i swap them out even though it's a hit to the wallet.
Poor wet traction.
Hydroplane badly.
At about 20k miles the rubber gets hard, then even dry traction goes away, and snow/ice traction vanishes.

My preferred brand is Nokian. I've had 2 sets of their ATs (F150 & F350) and they've been incredible. Crazy grip in all conditions and quiet. I will probably change the KO3s to Nokian Outpost AT.
We also have a set of their winter tires, and recently put their 4 season tires on the wife's Escape.

Currently have Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 in 295/70r18 on the F350, they have been impressive. Been 3 years with those, very happy.

Ok so one thing I did was lower my pressures to 36 cold thanks to @RaptrJr

While on my way up to our Florida Raptor Run there was a good bit of rain. On the highway at 75-80. Truck was fine. In the back of my mind I’m thinking I’m gonna lose grip at any moment. Nope, nothing zero. Truck was fine. I also notice with the lower pressures breaking feels better. Like the tire is squishing into the pavement.

I know @RaptrJr runs even lower than me 36 more like 34-32 and he is happy with it and more miles than me.

I suggest at your own discretion playing with treasures and see what you think.

That being said, I am still ver interested in the Pirellis when it’s time to switch them out.

I've been running 34 psi. Much better all around.

I can confirm after my first winter that K03 have a definite weakness on ice, it's quite jarring because they usually have pretty good grip...but on icy roads literally nothing,

I feelThe K02 on my 2007 ranger are better on ice to be honest

Only 2K, so no clue on the wear. But the ride is much smoother and better traction. 39 psi felt harsh to me, almost like I was driving on solid tires. I've always stuck with the recommended tire pressures (drove lots of equipment for the fire department) but airing down a little just works better on the Raptor.

I will give that a shot as well. Only 420 miles on mine....

Cool I’m at 2600 miles. Maybe I’ll do the chalk test tomorrow and see what that tells me.

Bumped the tires down to 35, it certainly improved the ride, helped the on-center feel a teenie bit, maybe. But I tried an old trick - I set the LF to 35.5 and the RF to 34. It causes the slightest tendency to drift to the right. Hardly noticeable but enough to reduce the constant steering need on the highway. Win.

Looking forward to seeing your chalk test results!
