Only problem with Granger Ford ESP is you can't get it in California
JRRANGER
A couple states dont allow for warranties to be purchased out of state. Thats on the state legislatures.

Anyone know of any Florida dealers offering discounted deals on Ford Premiumcare extended warranty like Granger and Flood offer since Florida doesn't allow out of state dealers to sell ESPs in Florida?

So I just purchased my Ranger on 1/26/26 and I turn down the dealers offer on the Service Plan because they wanted $3000 bucks. And I then went online and found this site .
www.Grangerfordextendedwarranty.com which had much better rates.

So I’m looking for any of you that have this plan for info , on if you like it or not . It seems a little good to be true. But I know very little about Buying an extended warranty for a truck .
So your two cents might be helpful I’m sure.
Here’s 2 pictures from the site .
And it does state that I can use my Ford pass rewards from the truck purchase to buy this , which is about $175 bucks .

No, they can't, we're stuck buying it from a dealership in state. I believe it has to do with them needing to be licensed to sell insurance in this state.

I bought the PremiumCare 10yr/100K miles from Granger and used my Ford points. It was supposed to go up in April 2026 but I have not checked if it did. They sent me this email to confirm,

"

Please take a moment to review the entire email carefully, as it contains all the details you’ll need before following up.

Your plan is now registered with Ford. I have attached copies for your records.

Please verify that everything on the contract is correct! Including VIN.

You do not need to sign and return as it was done electronically in the Ford system.

Ford has recently updated their system and it no longer requires a customer signature for contract activation. Once you receive a confirmation email from us stating that your contract has been registered, it will automatically appear in Ford’s OASIS database — the same system that your local Ford dealer uses to verify and access your plan.

If you request to make any changes to your contract, there will be a $50.00 non-refundable, non-negotiable fee added to the price of the change(s).

Your plan is now tied to your VIN.

Ford Pass important information: FordPass App had an update with their app and the Ford ESPs are no longer showing with in FordPass. They are aware that they are no longer available in the app. FordPass has decided they are not going to change that any time soon. There is nothing further our dealership can do when it comes to the FordPass App at this time.

Your plan is attached to your VIN, which is how other dealerships will see that you have an active ESP warranty.

Unfortunately, these are also not showing in the customer portal with Ford. To verify your warranty status, I recommend visiting your local Ford dealership. They can run your VIN through the OASIS system, which will show all active and applicable warranties on your vehicle. This is typically the most reliable and up-to-date method of verification."

I have not verified it yet or needed to do any warranty work.

If I understand your question, you are looking to buy a 7 year, 60,000 mile extended Warranty. Currently you have 3 year bumper to bumper warranty. You also have a 5 yr powertrain warranty that comes with your trucks purchase. Your extended warranty is only covering items outside of your truck original warranty. You might check the fine print in what isn’t covered. Most extended warranties do not cover lights or the infotainment pad. Most warranties require some sort of detectable. Usually $50-100. And I believe this to be the kicker. Anytime the mechanic notes something that should be fixed or is close to failer, you May be required to fix it or if it breaks it will not be covered. Check into this. Part of the contract requires you to follow manufacturer maintenance schedules.
The average margin for an extended warranty in around 40% and that’s huge.
Good luck with which ever way you go.

They offer interior / exterior light as an add on as well as Key Fob replacement. I would go with the added lights option as the front performance LEDs are expensive. As JimG alluded to extended warranties are huge profit centers and are very specific on what is covered. The only way to find out what is covered is by what part is being fixed and it's associated part number. I had a recent experience where the inside slide cover on my sunroof broke and it was not covered as the part was classified as trim. What a crock of BS. How is the retractable roof shade not a part of the sun roof. I buy the warranties for peace of mind for the big ticket items. Have a good relationship with your dealer who is going to do your repairs.

Good call if you’re planning to keep it; the big-ticket stuff adds up fast. BaseCare is strong on powertrain/driveline but it skips a lot of electronics (cameras, sensors, infotainment), so if your Ranger is optioned up, pricing out PremiumCare for comparison can be worth it. Whatever you have, set the deductible/rental/roadside the way you want and keep every maintenance receipt—those get asked for on turbo/engine/trans claims. It’s transferable and pro‑rata refundable, any Ford dealer can handle it, and just be mindful that tunes/lifts can complicate coverage even when the failure seems unrelated.

It's why I get my maintenance done by Ford every 5K. There will be no dispute as they have every service on record.

Try Lombard Ford, we bought an ESP plan from them for our Explorer in WV with big discounts over what the local dealers offer, and supposedly they are now Florida licensed.

I don’t like them. No matter what they are on . The odds are that you will never come close to spending anywhere near the cost of the plan .
These plans are sold by companies that are in it to make money and they know that the odds are in the favor .
MOS, you are absolutely correct about the odds with ANY insurance! That my friend is what insurance is about, is, was, and always will be. By all means you can roll the dice but when something goes bad you will be paying big time with all the ridiculous electronics in cars today. These plans are what I call, pun intended, "cheap insurance" for that very reason...
