Hi, all. Has anyone found any not cheaply made brands, lift kits that work for the 24s non Raptor? I was going to level for the time being, ordered a Ready leveling kit from American Truck, website said it fits. But once I took it into my 4x4 shop, they said it didn't. There is a slight difference from the 23s to the 24s. Any direction to point me in would be great. Thanks.

Tons of option oversees, but so far they haven't made it to the US. So far our option is a strut spacer kit.

Lift kits...high all, can someone explaina lift kit, why does the truck need to be levelled? I am getting my first truck, 2024 Lariat in 30 days, ordered it 2.5 months ago. What is the advantage of doing a lift kit? any disadvantages?

Mostly for looks. Rangers come with the rear being much higher than the front to accommodate squat when loaded. Most people prefer a leveled look, so a 2" or 2 1/2" spacer is used on the front suspension to level the truck from front to back.

A level kit allows for bigger tires. I also saw a company that makes add on air bags to handle squat.

I don’t recommend a spacer. They add wear and stress to front end steering, drive train, and shock components. Get a real suspension leveling kit that relocates critical components along with the lift. It’s a $600-700 equipment spend over a $60-70 and soon to be excessively worn Or eventually broken parts (I.e. shock mount). Pay now or be stranded and pay later.

Can you show an example?

At full compression the bump stops will no longer make contact, therefore the load is transferred directly to the strut. Also harder on the CV joints and ball joints as they are running at angles they weren't intended to. It also induces bump steer.

Ok did some research. The problem with the spacer lifts is that the shock maxes out its travel before it hits the bump stock. In the long run this ends up causing the strut to crack and possibly break off(that's bad) at the weld closest to where it mounts on the lower control arm. My question is if you put larger tires on you need to prevent the wheel from regular full travel as it won't clear the fender right? So what's the solution, sounds like a different bump stop or bump stop mount. Ironically the new Tacoma is having this issue because they didn't put bump stops on it.

No no no… putting on larger tires does nothing to the suspension travel. All you are going to do is tear more stuff up.

Watch this (it’s for a Tacoma but same concept) Spacer vs Lift

Here are examples of Gen5 lift kits BDS Suspension

I haven’t found anywhere suspension lift kits for the US market yet. There’s all kinds of stuff for the Australian market

This is the kit I would buy if it was for the Gen6 truck (but it’s not)

So is there an actual non spacer level kit for a 2024 Ranger that the American market can order? I researched Dobinson's and only came up with 10-23 Rangers.
