OK, this my second install of Signaute Lux Lava DRLs on a Ranger. First was on a 2024 XLT V6. This time was on a new 2026 Raptor.
The first install took about 7 hours. This install a little over 3 hours. Could have been 2.5, but two scrivets were being a pain.
On the second install I did not remove the wheels. Just turned the wheels to full lock the opposite direction and had plenty of room to hold back the liners.
Things I did the second time right away that made things way easier.
1. Unbolted and dropped the horns on both sides. One bolt each side, pretty easy. Driver side was easy to access, but tedious.
2. Unbolted the fenders. That extra inch or two it gives is invaluable
3. Chose flex extender that had more flexibility than tourque strength. The screws that hold the heat sink in place come in and out pretty easy once you get a good purchase on them. Having a really flexible extension worked.
Oh, and the dreaded black clips aren't really a pain. If you pinch them at the top and pull straight back they come right of. Same with the re-install.
