As the title states. I need a box that will be able to accommodate at least 2 range bags and a few other misc. items. Think large backpacks. A bonus would be if it can be secured using turnbuckles other wise I can use a cargo bar. Any suggestions out there? Thanks in advance!

Not sure how large range packs are, but I use large plano trunks, add a weather strip to the inside lip of the lid to make it waterproof. Worth looking into.

I recently bought this truck box from Tractor Supply for $319. I added a U-bolt on each side so that I could secure the box to the pickup's tie downs with a turnbuckle and chain link. This also allows me to mount it at the rear of the bed for easy access.

To protect the bulkhead, I placed two kneeling pads sandwiched between the box and bulkhead. It's very secure.

In bigb’s post above he links to Home Depot’s page. If you scroll down you will see the one with the clear polycarbonate lid. They come in different sizes and are pretty tough. I have 6 of them in the box of my truck. I also have a bigger one I keep birdseed and deer corn in. There is a gasket in the lid, it keeps moisture and bugs out.

I know it's not a box...I got those as well but as it adapts in size to the stuff you put in it, I got this bag and really like it...When I need to fully protect stuff in the bed (I have a tonneau cover).

I live in Montreal, so it can get wet and icy in winter. Need something to fully protect our belongings sometimes. I even kept art paintings in there for weeks without any issues.

Heavy, sturdy, adaptable in size, zippers are heavy duty and there's a flap on top of it. I could literrally pressure wash this thing and no water would get in it I think.

hi, I like the look of that bag! Question: I have a tonneau, does the bag fit under it with tonneau closing normally? Just asking because you said you have a tonneau, and just in the amazon pictures it looks like the bag would sit up too high? We'd be looking for this to hold a couple of suitcases for longer trips. Thanks.

Had the same question before I bought it. It is soft so in the pictures they put boxes or whatever, but it conforms to whatever you pit it in. When I don't use it, I'ts flat on the bed. I sometimes use boxes but if I need to maximum space I'll use the bag. Whatever the shape of the stuff, it just works and probably at a better value.

The zipper is in front and goes a little bit of each side so it's "easy" to put stuff in.

That what I like about it, it can take little place (yes even full it fits under my cover) so you can even have boxes in or out in the bed. It's adaptable.

The material is quite thick though, heavy duty so it's so super flexible when it's cold. My wife fits it a little difficult, but I have no issues with office man hands ;-)

I have purchased a couple of weatherproof cargo bags from Harbor Freight over the past 15 years, and they served very well! They come with bungee cords and buckle straps, I believe, and HD flapped zippers.

Does it fit under the retrax canister?

Also what's this bed mat? I like the section between the bed and the tailgate. Looks quality and soft.
Real truck on the bed mat , and no it does not. I have recovery boards and ropes mounted behind it. The new version of the bed mat is wider and nice on the knees!

I have a tractor supply box also but i have some L brackets with holes to use the bed bolts. Then inside, the top part of the L brackets use a pin with a clip to keep it in that you can only pull if you have the key to unlock the box.

Cant be stolen and can be pulled out very easily. I have actually used this on my last few trucks
