I live on a dirt road and need to add mud flaps to my 2025 Ranger Lariat. I don't plan to do any off roading, so I just need something to prevent stone chipping and cut down on mud splashing. I looked at Muslogy (how is that name pronounced?), Ford OEM and Weathertech. I can't find any dimensions published for any of these.

The Muslogy ($50) has good reviews as far as installation and price goes, but they might not be flexible and large enough as the others.

Ford OEM ($170) are expensive. Not sure about flexibility and size.

Weathertech ($80) modest price and good reputation. Again, not sure about size.

I'm looking for something that is easy to install and has larger size for greater protection. Thanks in advance for your advice.

I have the Ford OEM flaps on my Lariat. While I haven’t yet tested them on a dirt road I think they’ll be fine with stock wheel and tire setup. But yes they are expensive.

I can measure the musology ones on my truck for you.

If you have decent side step boards, either of those 3 options will provide coverage. I have tyger step boards with my mud flaps and the only time i get mud on the fnwder or door is if i am turning and make a big splash into a puddle. Mud flaps wont protect so much when turning and throwing mud from the front tires.

For the back, tou can get longer wider generic flaps at the parts store in the self help aisle but i have been fine with musology

That's a clean looking set. Are the orange letters an order option or did you put those on yourself? I have only seen them available without letters. And do you feel they are large enough or should they be a bit larger? I'm leaning towards these.

Check out Rokbloks XL. Had them on my 5g and will get them for my 6g.

Edit...appears they dont make them yet. There's a wait list.

Thanks for the suggestion. I went to their website, and they look like they are not offering anything just yet for a 2025 Ranger. Or they might be sold out. Their price is up there with the Ford OEM. They might be worth it, but it is really hard to assess the differences between them and the others. Still leaning towards Misology.

Ford oem are two per wheel, front and rear The one in front of the front wheel is pretty small.

What was installation like? Any drilling or otherwise? I have 30K Fordpass points available ($150 last I checked). Not quite enough but within reach.

the ford flaps don't require any drilling. direct fit. might want to get some spare plastic screws in case you mess them up removing or reinstalling.

that is how mine came from the factory, $130 front rear splash guards mud guards

it looks like no drilling as @TCB already mentioned

They are flexible but not rubbery flexible if you know what I mean.

I keep waiting for my ford pass points to show up from my purchase

I added the front and back OEM accessories. Like others have said they’re easy, just reinstall with the slightly longer included plastic rivets. Flexible enough they seem like they could get bumped and just go back to normal. I’d happily buy them again. I still get dirt on the running boards, but does a good job keeping the rest clean.
