How much have you all been able to negotiate off your Ranger when placing an order? The dealer I'm talking to doesn't offered $1000 off MSRP and didn't want to budge on the price. I don't think that's anything to write home about, but not sure what the market is like. I'm Vermont if anyone else has ordered here or in the New England market. I wouldn't mind hearing from other markets as well.

I'm about 20 minutes from you. I'm currently working with Heritage in Burlington. Sounds like you've had good luck with Lamoille Valley Ford. I was on their website yesterday shopping around the different Ford dealers in the area.

I have had ok luck using Heritage for service. Never had any success dealing with them for sales.

if you do buy from LV, Chandler is the sales manager. Greg is a great sales man.

Are you looking at a Raptor or other Ranger? I think Raptors pretty much go for MSRP. On the rest of the Rangers I got a Lariat with FX4 and standard tow package for Invoice +$2000. That included all fees, taxes (2.75% where I am), tag, title, etc. and with that they added a LineX bedliner and gave me a set of the all weather floor liners. So basically ~$800 worth of addons.

For non-raptors, id say until the 25 rangers come out, you will probably not see to many deals in general.

For what it is worth -- On printout I got when ordering a Lariat showed $50180 MSRP and $48282 Invoice. I negotiated off MSRP in case the Invoice number was not an accurate number.

I'm looking for a Ranger XLT. A raptor would be awesome, but way out of my budget.

Sign up for the Mustang Club of America. After 90 days you can get X-Plan pricing... Which is essentially invoice. Additionally, you can join your local Farm Bureau for $40/yr (that was mine in Virginia) and after 30 days you get $500 cash down payment credit from Ford. FYI... X-Plan pricing also locks the "doc fee" to a maximum of $100.

I ordered my Lariat in late June (est. September 2nd build date) and received $1,800 off MSRP. This was in Richmond, VA.

Not all dealers will do or accept X-Plan pricing. Have to get that situated ahead of time when ordering. Also, some models will not be included in X-Plan if they do accept it.
