I have it also. Its a lot more solid than the bulletpoint mounts in my wife's wrangler. They are good too but the driver side always comes loose, where the offroam hasn't once come loose

I bought one, I think it was about $80. Money well spent. And, I had a question about it. Sent an email on the weekend and expected a response during the week. I got an email about 20 minutes later. Great customer service!!

You guys must be single. My wife would freak out if I spent $80 on the phone mount when I already have a cup phone
No, been married 32 years. Updating the truck is kind of a hobby. We don’t question each other’s expenditures. Retired, debt free is a pretty good thing.
Plus we are planning a road trip, if we decide to take my truck, I’ll get one for her phone.

If $80 would break your relationship you might be in the wrong relationship. Years ago my girl asked me how much we should be able to spend without consulting the other. I didn't have an answer. A couple of months later I had an answer. I came home with a brand new 24 foot Baja H2X. I showed her the bill of sale. $67,704.29. I guess that was the magic number. I have been happily single ever since.

Sometimes you have to pay up for certain accessories, there is simply no better mount for the new Ranger. It's worth every penny. You can save some money by just buying the mount and getting the rest of the hardware (arm & magnet/clamp) off Amazon for cheaper, that's what I did.

My wife and i have been married for 26. She doesnt mind because she got a 4ct diamond ring a month or two ago.

And i just buy the base and go to marketplace and get bullet point arms and holders from whoever is selling the cheapest. I paid 5 bucks and shipping for 2 arms and 2 phone holders from a girl who got a new truck and her old bullet point base no longer fit. Those suckers probably would have been 100 if i bought them new

One month post purchase and install report...

I bought the OFFROAM mount last month based on the posts and feedback on this forum relating to phone mounts. After a little over a month post-installation, I am a big fan. Installation was a breeze (no modifications needed) and the mount has been rock solid. However, I did purchase the Bulletpoint 3.5" Aluminum Mounting Arm with Dual 20mm Socket Ends (off Amazon) to replace the OFFROAM "regular" articulating arm that came with the mount. I found that the 3.5" dual socket ends arm allowed me to position my mounted phone so that it was angled to my liking more towards the driver position and so that it was also not obstructing the infotainment screen whereas the Bulletpoint articulating arm had limitations in terms of both these aspects. I have a Samsung S23 Ultra which is a big phone, so these issues (i.e., my preferences) may be moot for those with smaller phones using the setup with the OFFROAM "regular" arm, or none of this may even matter at all. I know that I am probably being too critical of it, but I like being able to see the entire screen.

It has been a wonderful upgrade from my previous phone holder which used one of the cupholders. Gaining back a cupholder was an undeniable game changer as evidenced by a recent 1000+ mile road trip with my wife where we both were able to keep a beverage in the center console cupholders. 😀

Thanks for the info, I am going to look at it. I may add a second OFFROAM for my wife’s phone for trips. I currently have it mounted on the driver side, I may move it to the passenger side like yours.
