Old puller, but new to towing with the Raptor

Gents,
I have a 2024 Ranger Raptor, dead stock save the FP tune. Just bought a 2025 Grand Design 151RB. With the power cables and water hoses in the front storage, she squats hard down to the bump stops. The trailer specs only claim 350 on the tongue, but I’m likely at 500-lbs. Wanting an Andersen WDH because it’s light, but they’re not rated for such a light trailer. Do I fix that by simply not tightening the bolts as much? How much should I be able to bring the nose down? I have zero expectations of getting the rear up since she sits on coilovers. Have thought about adding sumosprings. Any recommendations on pulling with the super soft rear end on the Ranger Raptor?

The andersen is excellent at controlling sway and especially jounce on rough freeways, it is NOT especially good at weight distribution. I agree that you need stiffer rear springs, which will affect the unloaded ride, airbags, which will affect the articulation, a lighter trailer, which will affect your wallet, or a different model truck. You made the wrong decision by purchasing a tow vehicle first - it is always prudent to buy a trailer, then afterwards a sufficient tow vehicle.

I have RR and don’t tow now, but if I bought a trailer it would be a teardrop with a GVWR of 3000 pounds at the very highest. And I would travel very light, the truck just doesn’t carry a load very well, by design.

I wouldn't say he bought the wrong truck, he's within the tow rating limit albeit on the edge.
If you slapped a good WDH on there you should be able to get quite a bit of the squat eliminated.
Then you can put some weight behind the rear axle until you're comfortable with how it rides on the highway.

This illustrates the difference between the Raptor and the leaf sprung ranger models. My 189dd Gulfstream has roughly 500lbs on the tongue with my 24 XL. I use a E2 WDH, and that helps tremendously.

I have a grand design 16 MLA. 2026 model.
It's 20 ft total length.
I bought that weight distribution hitch and it is also anti-sway. Flattened everything out. Hauls really nice
