Order a 2025 Ranger Raptor at MSRP HELP!

I would like to order a Ranger Raptor at MSRP. I don’t mind waiting 5-9 months for the vehicle to be delivered. I live in a pretty wealthy town, Boise Idaho and I can’t compete with the locals. I have spoken with 4 dealerships so far. The closest one to me will sell an allocation to me for 10,000 dollars. I started calling out of town and they are looking for 5,000 dollars. Reading the forum it sounds like dealerships as of today can accept orders, although dealers are telling me I need to wait another month before orders open ( is there any truth to this? ). I would appreciate any recommendations or insight on how to order a Ranger Raptor. If it helps, I am willing to travel within a 500 mile ring of Boise. If you know of a dealer that could work with me please let me know. Thanks for your time!!

I know Granger in Iowa is MSRP, but they may be more than 500 miles from you.

Your better option is trying to find a 2024. You will need to pound the pavement to find a deal. If you want a connection to a Bay Area California dealership who will likely have a list for MY25 Ranger Raptors @ MSRP, PM me.

Buy a 1 way ticket and drive one back. There are over a dozen listed on CarGurus under MSRP. Even if it’s a mistake and they’re for MSRP you’re still $4,300 ahead after flying out and paying for lodging and gas.

I found mine on car gurus. $750 under msrp. No dealer add-ons and they delivered it to me 5 hours away.

If I were you I would message all on car gurus. If you did that you would have a Ranger in less than a week.

All of this is fantastic advice. Thank you all for the responses. Thankfully it sounds like the Midwest and East Coast are still reasonable on prices. Plus a road trip would give me something to look forward too! May the hunt begin again. Being a mere mortal I will be impressed with MSRP @ quickstang1 hell of a deal you found!

The lowest in SoCal was a 5k markup. I'd be willing to travel or maybe even have shipped. Looking to place a new order for MY25. Anything you could share would be much appreciated.

Morgan Hill Ford in Bay Area is MSRP, but they probably has a long list.

I bought my 24 RR from a SoCal dealer at $2500 over. I doubt they would do the same deal now. Near MSRP deals in CA are possible.

Superford in Salt lake will take orders and sell at MSRP. They are a great dealership.

The lowest I was able to find in the Boise area for a 2025 RR was $2,500 over MSRP. Try Kendall Ford or the Ford Auto Ranch in Mountain Home. Let us know what you find out!

I feel you. I'm in Boise and none the dealers around here would really budge, even as a repeat customer. Lithia had one on the lot at $10k over but I know they sold it for less than that. I ended up going WAY out of town to get mine, but when I was looking the lowest markup I found was at a dealer in Wyoming, possibly Fremont Ford in Cody? and maybe Pierre Ford in Hermiston, OR. That was 6months ago, so things could have changed since then. Good luck!
