I went from a 2015 F150 Lariat to a 2025 Ranger Lariat, decided not to wait for the 2026’s. I wanted real leather seats and the performance led headlights, That are dropped on the 26 Rangers. My build date was Nov 12th 2025, bought on Dec 7th, it was on the lot for 16hrs. Now that is fresh. Only issue has been getting use to the smaller truck, been in F150’s for 20 years. New truck handles great, love getting in and out of parking spots and will fit in garages in Arizona, which we are moving to.
Went with the Azure Grey with the Sandstone leather, light colored interiors are hard to find. Jumped on this plus sticker was $53k got it for $46k.

I think we need a pic of this combo. Sounds nice.

Same combo here, lot of hate for the sandstone but she's a beaut Clark. Good pick imo

I do like that contrast in colors, but me being a DOB and filthy at the end of the workday, I'd have to but seat and console cover on it. No. 1 reason I don't want leather.

That does look good. I thought I wanted sandstone but since the dash still black, I thought it would have limited cooling benefit.

And man are they hard to find! You have a real unicorn there!

We've had a couple of vehicles with the sandstone side panels and for me they won't work.

For some reason I'm kind of like pigpen in Charlie Brown. My wife won't let me wear white for that reason.

I envy the person who can pull this off....

I do like the top liner in sandstone. I wish I had that.

I put in tan seat covers and it took me a month to realize I had a gray liner!

Thanks it was a long strange trip to get it. Leather wasn't the selling point on the lariat, but still worth dealing with it to get my other wants. Biggest gripe about the seats is they temporarily stain a bit when you are wearing newer blue jeans. Invested in leather cleaner and conditioner and I guess I have a passion for cleaning messes. There is a lot of gray/black in the cabin still too.

Yes they are very hard to find, since I’m retired not worried about ”work” clothes staining the pretty easy to clean leather. Pretty satisfied with this new Ranger, when they came back to the states, I test drove a 2020 Ranger, not a good experience, brakes were very mushy with tons of petal, plus the suspension was not ideal. 2025‘s are completely competent, suspension is tight and brakes are perfect. compliments from all my passengers. Only issue in 1300 miles, oil temperature gauge runs a little hot, don’t think the oil is getting that hot, though. Was hot footing it up a pretty good grade, temp showed 242 degrees on gauge, the actual numbers popped up, went over the top found a place to pull over, checked oil, it seemed fine, not overly hot. Dealer checked, no codes were thrown, but at least I have it on record. BTW, I have the new 2.3L, which I like.

TruckWorks. Appears there are several around the state. Lifetime warranty. Looks like the product may be from Linex since when I google map Linex I get all the Truck Works around the area. Didn’t plan for the undercoat or rust proofing, not sure how effective/beneficial it would be. Have heard mixed opinions over the years. Thoughts?
Asked the guy at the TruckWorks shop: it’s a Phoenix material they use now. Didn’t seem too pleased with Linex but didn’t elaborate

This is nothing against the raptor or the raptor owners, because I would gladly own a Ranger raptor. But, I would prefer the raptor be its own forum, since so much of its mods and stuff are so different than the other trims.

Every time I search for a mod I’m interested in I find one, only to realize it’s for a raptor and the thread doesn’t apply to the standard rangers.

There’s probably a little jealousy involved. Not gonna lie.
You mean like this section, directly under the general section this thread is in? besides the engine and suspension... and some options, they are all basically the same stuff.

I think the raptor people keep the ranger forums everywhere more active. No disrespect, but they are definitely an outspoken minority, I'm certain the sales by trim didn't break down the way poll does. 75% xl and xlts on the road if I had to put a number on it. Thanks raptor dudes and dudettes.

TruckWorks had a falling out over profit margins. The now-Phoenix TruckWorks folks in Wichita said Linex lost 57 dealers Nationally. Chemically, Phoenix is right there with Linex, just less known and fewer installers.

Exact scenario, 2021 F150 was great but getting too big to handle. Grew up in Tucson with a carport. Ranger would fit in that space easily, F150 no way.
