ProCal Tune for Ranger Raptors in California?

OK i'm in southern Calif dealer just told me Starting at $373.50. and that's because for this one after we do the the programming or the calibration we have to monitor the air fuel ration and the spark timing and the RPNs (what ever that is) and the temperatures and if anything else was to happen during that time can lead to more extensive work.. and extra cost.

so any one in southern Ca that can recommend a dealer and cost about how long it takes..

That makes no sense. They just it and you're off. Even if they monitor anything the procal has nothing you can adjust other than tire size. It's one of the safest tunes out there, hence why Ford even sells it and gives you a warranty.

Ya thats what i keep hearing.. i have a friend he was a ford mech think his ASE certs are still good.. will be asking him.. i should of know the red flag when i had to explain to the service writer and give him the part number which he couldnt find for a while on his computer.. lol

I got a dealer to do the tune for $275. Bit more than I'd like to pay, but it's fine. Tuner itself was bought with points.

I went where i purchased my RR, Woodland Ford, charged $230, took less than an hour.
I had everything pre staged for them.

If I purchase now, it says dealer install in $112.00 I wonder if it’s a requirement for the dealers to agree to the Nationwide install prices…

Unfortunately...history, experience has shown, regardless of Ford site $$$ shown for labor, 'stealerships' charge whatever they please.
