Random loss of personal gauge setting - Is my battery already toasted?

This has happened about 5–7 times over my 20 months of ownership.

In mornings, the cluster gauge usually shows the battery sitting around high 11V to low 12V before engine starts running, and it dips to 9~10V during cranking. Randomly, my personal settings gets lost: My View resets, and my gauge selections revert to factory defaults. I've never had the issue on a manual start using the push-button, but all failures happened on remote start.

For context on my driving: at least one 30-minute-plus drive every three days plus random short trips in between (school runs for the kids).

Anyone else seeing this?

Is my factory battery already toast? I'm considering an upgrade to an X2Power AGM battery, possibly upgrading to H8 size for the extra capacity. I plan to run a fridge and a diesel heater off the starting battery for overnight camping. I ran an X2Power in my 4Runner and never had a single hard-start the next morning.

Yup, the computer is glitchy. Mine does it every so often. Haven't lost the custom "My View" in a while, but it will default back to a different set of screens at least once a week.

Short trips on a modern vehicle, especially a Ford with conservative recharging. will absolutely destroy your battery. Recommend you toss it on a battery tender often if you can, with the negative alligator clip on a ground point not on the battery so that the truck "sees" how much charge is in the battery.

I had my battery changed out under warranty on my 2024 Raptor. There seems to be some quality issues with them.

Whoopsie daisy. Just got back from two weeks abroad and put it on a tender...with the negative on the battery. Been back about a week and its been running fine, but wish I'd known about this earlier ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
