I bought one of these ($16 at Amazon) and am going to install at my next oil change. At the next oil change, I'll remove it after the oilstop draining and measure what come out next.

Much lower cost than the Ronin, but doesn't use a hose.
Yeah i just found out about those! I think it's a great option.

Wanted to have the dealer do the first oil change and install the ronin plug. This way I wouldn’t make a mess as I’ve heard can happen with these yellow plastic plugs. Welp, they refused to install my “aftermarket” plug for fear of warranty issues.. ??

I’m not sure what the issue is on the 2.7 but the 2.3 has a pretty clear drain path

and I’ve always used one of these magnetic holders to remove the drain plug to keep my hands clean

The 2.7 and 3.0 have a plastic drain plug. Also when it comes out the drain hole is about 3/4". The oil really comes outt
There is a crossmember below the drain plug with a wiring harness running along it that gets oily unless you protect it. I use aluminum foil.
