Nice, congrats! In my opinion, my hope is you are really going to enjoy this truck! The 2.7 6’ is an awesome motor. I’m not saying this is what you should do, but i did a soft break in on the motor for the first 1000 miles. I topped off at 25.4 miles per gallon in Eco mode at 70 mph. That was a short drive! I was floored by that stat. Other than that, i feel for the price point of the Lariat, there should have been full LED lights on the rear as well. I hate to see bulbs on the price of this truck! For more stability, I’ve read some guys complain about the truck should have wider tires, i totally agree. Other than that, enjoy the truck, i am totally satisfied, i get great comments about the truck wherever i go! lol, Take Care

Ditto. I also have the 2.7 and it is an awsome engine. Regarding the tires, since I live in the Southwest Michigan Great Lakes snow belt I will be changing out tires to snow and ice next month. We get our share of both. Otherwise I too would go wider - - and will in the spring. My break in has been mostly city so only showing 19.4 in eco mode.

Awesome LeeHo! Yeah I’m really enjoying the truck. I just passed 1000k miles and finally opened her yesterday. She just kept pulling! Now I know I can pass something if I have to! Lol

It absolutely moves! Got into a tight spot yesterday where an A-Hole ran a red and swerved around in front of me in the inersection. I slammed on my breaks just in time but there was another car comming up behind me pretty fast. Put the peddle to the metal and burned a little but didn't get rear ended. Dont think i could ever do that again but at lease it worked this time. Funny how new vehicles tend to attract accidents! Good thing it was in sport mode.

I just went through the first tank of fuel and I'm driving it like it's broken in now. It averaged 12.2 Litres/100 (19.28 MPG) in both normal mode and occasionally in sport mode with a fairly even mix of Hwy/City.
It has plenty of power and merging on to the highway is effortless for the 2.7. My only gripes are the seat belt reminder warning and the brakes. It has a soft initial pedal feel with considerable pedal travel required before the brakes begin to apply. Not very linear IMHO. That aside I think it's a fantastic truck.
I think the Canyon AT4 is the best looking truck in the segment but build quality horror stories scared me away. The Tacoma is a grossly overpriced tin can with serious reliability issues compared to the Lariat.
