So did you run the tires at a really low pressure on the dunes? I would love to give that a try but not a lot of dunes in Jersey, at least none you can drive up, over and around (the beach).

Yep airing down is very important for off-roading. I was running about 13psi and used Off-road/Sand mode in 4high with rear locker turned on. I got up some fairly steep dunes with that. The key is not using automatic as it can burn up your transmission cus it’s constantly trying to find a gear when you’re in the sand. Just stick it in manual mode and keep your RPM high!
