Today was install day. Ordered the Eibach 2.3inch front springs to work with the stock Fox live valve strut. I also had the Method Race Wheels 305 NV Double Black 17inch +25 offset ordered and 35x12.5 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/Ts.

All the parts showed up and took it in today to have everything installed. Well…good news…spring install went well. Bad news. The company sent the wrong size wheels. 16s showed up. Well if you were wondering what it looks like with stock 33s and Eibach springs. Here you go. I’ll post an update to this thread early next week when the correct wheels come in.

It looks like the front is sitting slightly higher but this is probably due to a couple things. 1. I have a Decked drawer system in the bed which is probably weighing it down a little 2. The new springs need to settle. I may end up ordering the Eibach 500lb rear springs if the front doesn’t settle much.

Measure top of tire to fender. So differrences due to not perfectly flat garage floor and probably tire pressures. Still the front is sitting almost an inch higher.

Looks great! Is that a Shelter Green RR debadged? Is the lighting just an overcast day or do you have a flat/satin PPF on it?

Did it raise the front overall from stock? I’m looking to probably do the same but different ones in rear due to GFC and decked

It is overcast but I also have a satin PPF on the Shelter Green. Here are some in the sunlight.

Oh yea. It’s definately higher than stock. I have decked system too. I’m putting a winch on the front and hoping that helps bring the front down a little bit more too.

Stock vs Lifted front

Awesome thanks for the reply! Truck looks great.
I found the part listed in the instructions for the front HD springs but i cant find the rears by searching for that part. You know anything about the hd rear springs?

Yea. You see at the bottom where it states the rear 500# springs? That’s them. They are super close to releasing them. I called a couple weeks ago. I think they are even going to have a 1,000# spring too. I’m impatiently waiting.

No disrespect, but I don’t see enough of a difference to constitute the added expense.
For me its not just looks. Hoping to get two things. A small lift overall for the future 35s and most importantly raise the back end up because its slightly lower than the front due to the permanent weight ive added.

i wouldnt see any real reason to touch the springs otherwise

2.3 inches! That’s quite a bit for $300. I also need it for the additional ground clearance for the trails out here in Colorado. So between the springs and the 35s going on…probably around 3-4 inches of additional clearance in the front. That’s quite a bit.

A little bouncy in the front but I think that will subside once I get some miles on it. The fox live valve does amazing with it though. I’m probably going to throw the 500# spring in the rear once it gets released.

Does the 500# spring lower the rear end? And did they need to use the forscan to calibrate your ride height in order for the fox live valve to work?

No. The 500# spring is if you have some weight in the bed of your truck. If you had no weight in the bed it would raise the rear about 1.2 inches. And would go down from there as you add more weight in the bed. So if you had 500# of gear in the bed it would keep the rear at stock height.

I also keep reading a lot about calibrating the fox live valves. I didn’t do it for the front and I’m not sure if I totally understand the need for it as it takes feedback from the sensors and adjusts on the fly.
