I'm trying to assess payloads of Ranger XLT's with equipment Group 300A, 4WD, spray in bed, and Advanced tow package (67P). I'm hoping for upper 1,600's or even better lower 1,700s.

I've collected a lot of info. But driving around dealers just to snap a photo of the payload sticker is a pain. Hope this forum might provide additional info. Sales folks are generally useless.

Not quite on target, but XLT 2.3l 4WD w/301A, regular tow package and locking diff = 1633lbs.

You won't get to 1700. Its all about the engine choice. I have a '25 XLT with the 2.7L, 300A, spray in liner, advanced tow, and FX4 and its 1430 lbs. Go to the 2.3L and you'll gain 150 lbs or so and remove the FX4 you'll gain about 55 lbs. You can hit the low 1600 mark.
That said, if you're desperate for 100 lbs of payload you're probably overloading an axle. The total payload is also about how much each axle is carrying. On the door jam it tells you what each axle us rated to. You can't put 1200 lbs in the bed and 400 in the front seats.

Yes but you have to buy the truck or visit all trims to obtain that info.
You'll be in the low to mid 1600s as long as you choose the 2.3L. If you get a few lbs more, its a bonus.

Yes I was just hoping someone may have my desired trim. I've been collecting a lot of payload info. So I have a pretty good idea.

Are you going for the 2.3L or 2.7L?

Those Rangers and Colorado's are in 1/2-ton truck territory! So much for not getting to 1700lbs. Impressive.

2026 Ford Ranger STX
• 2.3 L Engine
• 4WD
• Trailer Tow Package
• Integrated Trailer Brake Control
• Payload 1,747 lbs

Don't exceed the tire/axle ratings and you will be fine.

The yellow door sticker is a suggestion from Ford and is not a legal document.

The GVWR sticker is the legal document.

And the axle rating is basically in line with the "payload" number. My payload sticker says 1430 but when calculated based on axle rating, its 1470. If 30 or 40 lbs makes or breaks your payload, you're in a truck thats too small for your needs IMHO.

the payload is right but I think there was a mistake it has to be 2WD and no integrated brake control but I don't have the vin to confirm
