Just like the S&B the clear top is just not installed so you can see the filter in the Ad!It doesn't take a genius to see that the hood does not close against the opening on this particular CAI. CAI systems that seal against the hood have a compression seal around the opening.

I’m curious if there would be any HP increase with the tune already installed. More air can’t hurt. I looked on the bronco forum for any dynos with the combo installed but didn’t see anything.Wonder if the 27hp would be added to a V6 with Ford Performance Tune on it!
If that's true (it's not) then why not just design it with a cover? That's a more reliable "seal" than hoping the hood covers it. Fluid flow follows the path of least resistance. This CAI is just going to suck hot air in from the engine compartment and mostly ignore the narrow cold air runner coming in from the grill.The hood closes against that genius…
