Yeah, looks like it's a dealer thing. I hate going to the dealer. I'm gonna see if I can get mobile service for this.
I'd give it some time. The Brake booster OTA took over a month.

On the other hand, if you are towing now, I would go in, or better yet have mobile service do it. I had that done with the brake booster software update and the guy showed up right on time, and left 15 minutes later.

Not towing, I'll call them and see about the mobile service.

I got mine OTA.

That's for the Telematic Control Unit, not the Trailer Module.
I got that one and an update to the Gateway Module OTA.

I received a letter today stating:
"Software is available to repair your vehicle. Ford Motor Company has
authorized your dealer to reprogram your vehicle's TRM free of charge."

It goes on to say to contact the dealer for an appointment. No mention of an OTA available or if one will be available.

I still need to get the air bag recall done, so I'll make an appointment to get them both done.

I wouldn't think so. That's a different module.
BTW, I had 3 OTA updates this weekend.
1. SYNC system
2. TRM trailer module
3. BCM to update something about wheel speed sensors.

I won't be on home wifi or able to visit a dealer until July. Hope everything continues to work (mostly) fine till then.

You will be all right. These S/W are updates for problems that MIGHT occur.
The TRM update was for the trailer module. If you aren't towing, it's not an issue.
The BCM update (BCM-25.7.0) says "The rear wheel speed sensor should no longer throw a fault code during the s/w update."
