Yet Another Recall For Trailer Module

I should put all of my recall letters from Ford in a 3 ring binder to keep them organized. The latest is the trailer module (TRM) can lose communication at start up. Great. Just as I buy my new PJ trailer. Has anyone had this fixed yet?

I'm taking mine into the dealership for the recall

I had mine done at the dealer while they were putting tpms sensors in my new wheels/tires. I don’t currently tow anything so I’m not sure what it did.

I just did the Compliance Recall Notice 26C0 / NTSA Recall 26V104. I had to go to a dealer to reprogram the TRM. I was only there 1 1/2 hours, and they did a multi-point inspection that was helpful as I change my own oil and do not take it to the dealer that often.

I bought a new 2025 XLT in October. The Ford mobile service van has been in my driveway two times in the past three weeks for two recalls and I just received a letter yesterday for another recall, one without a fix...yet. I really miss my 2014 F-150 XLT V8. I'm starting to regret selling that awesome truck for this mess.

I think I just got the same recall letter for a pinched wire behind the sun visors. I'm going to start referring to my RR as a RRR (Ranger Recall Raptor).

I’m taking my 2025 Ranger Lariat in this Thursday morning for seat bolt recall, they told me 3-4 hours.

Mine goes in next week for the A-pillar wiring, Side curtain airbag shield and Trailer module reprogramming.
The dealership has a dedicated technician for interior work so hopefully it goes smoothly and my paranoia turns out to be unwarranted.

I’m taking my 2025 Ranger Lariat in this Thursday morning for seat bolt recall, they told me 3-4 hours.

They did the seat bolt recall work in my driveway this week and it took less than an hour. They also did a mini inspection of the truck during that time which I thought was kind of nice. Telling you 3 to 4 hours tells me that they want to get your truck in there and work on it in between other jobs.

You were right, spoke with service advisor this morning and she told me to show up at 9am and they’ll have it done within the hour. They’ll inspect the bolts, if found loose, they reschedule to remove seats and fix.
