Apple Maps will display directions in the IP while google maps only displays in the center screen

I use google maps with Android Auto and all my directions come up on the instrument panel.

Maybe it's just dependent on the device you're using.

Apple Phone + Apple Carplay + Apple Map = IP GPS
Android/Google Phone + Android Auto + Google Maps = IP GPS

Nice. One recommendation for you, replace the chapstick with a lip balm tube. Something already in liquid/gel form. When you vehicle gets hot, that stick is going to melt and possibly leak into your center console. I learned this from my motorcycles.

By-the-way, how is it mounted inside the lid?

And when it gets hot you can dump it down the front of you, don't ask how I know this LOL

I was disappointed that there not a 12 volt plug in the bed, I could swear I thought it used to have one next to the 110v...

yep removed in the 2025 but 12v was in the 2024.

Useless Tip: When using Apple CarPlay and max HVAC, the fan speed will temporarily slow/stop so you can hear text messages read aloud and allow you to respond.

Did the same on my android auto.

Wonder if the wiring that they used is right behind where the plug in used to be? If thats the case ill drill a hole.

If someone with a 24 can look and see what the wire colors are that would help alot ?

Also a pic of that panel with the 12v outlet so I can try and install it with some reference point

No I bought that from Amazon about 9 months ago. Sometimes a moving target with Amazon. But I know the small is too big and an extra small fits.

Tried that holding the traction control.button down for 10 seconds, so it actually turns off a few things. From a dead stop, the truck is unbelievably fast compared to having the turned on. Luke, i bet my truck will beat my wife's wrangler when i have that turned off.

It should, its got the power and the gears but with traction control on, its just not as fast. Once my new phone mount shows up, i will test take off times to compare to the old ones where the jeep was killing me by half a second 0-60

no but it is in the connector below the bed, but you have to add pins and wires.

or buy a 2024 Power panel with the connector

If you set your power mirrors to close automatically, when you lock the truck they will close and you can get a visual confirmation that you did indeed, lock the truck.

the visor will slide sideways to extend, handy if you move it over to block the sun from the side window.

although there is no 12 volt outlet in the bed, the connector underneath bed has 12 volt power, so it is possible to add it, somewhat easily

(still figuring out the most elegant solution for this)

the am/fm antenna that sticks up high above the cab can be replaced with stubby antenna or even just a bolt and cap if you don’t like radio stations

the key fob can be used to open or close all side Windows, but not the rear sliding window

I will attach a couple pics of the panel in my 2024. I added two switches (one for bed lighting, one for future use) and dedicated usb/usb-c.

I thought I took a pic of the wiring, but I cannot find one.

the sirius antenna is not the one you unscrew so you are fine if you do unscrew the upright antenna. that one is just fm/am

I use constant power into a relay with timer I purchased from Amazon. I have it set to automatically turn off after 2 hours, if I forget.
