I pretty much decided im going to get a Ranger Raptor. I own two vehicles right now and don’t know which one to give up or if they both should go.

Current Garage:
-2019 Shelby GT350
-2023 Lexus IS350

For context:
-My wife and I are expecting a baby soon. She has an SUV.
-Best case scenario I can only keep two, worst case scenario one.
-I value a comfortable daily commuter but I enjoy performance and sporty driving.
-Looking for more utility considering a child is on the way, something for home depot trips, or something to throw bikes into and go for a trip.
-Looking for a perfect blend of performance and utility.

I think I already know what I have to do but I’m looking to see what y’all would do if you were in my shoes. TIA!

The GT350 as the RR with the procal and a few minor mods is just as quick as it.

As someone who has a bullitt Mustang, is250, and a RR (in addition to wife’s SUV), I say keep all! Plus, RR has been great with carrying around two kids/car seats.

I would love to have all three but I’m not sure I could manage that financially or if it would be wise.

What makes this so difficult is that I love both the Lexus and the Shelby. And as much as I love the Shelby…I barely drive it…and with a kiddo idk if I’ll drive it any more than I do now. Also was trying to capitalize on its value but it’s just such a special car that idk if I can let it go. Lexus is such a comfortable daily with good performance that it’s also gonna be difficult to see it go. The RR is really messing me up here haha

As someone who's had a family and a Mustang GT. That was a pain in the ass with kids, especially when a car seat was involved. Keep the Lexus for now. That's still a great car and much more feasible with a family. You're going to end up selling the Shelby or using it as a 3rd vehicle at some point.

As someone who just went through the same type of thing, vehicle-wise, I say you absolutely keep the GT350 and get the RR. I also had a 2019 GT350 and was using a 2021 Colorado ZR2 as my daily. Stricly for financial reasons, I couldn't keep two vehcles: Shelby was the coolest, most interesting vehicle I've ever owned but very narrow bandwidth for actual usage; ZR2 was easy to daily but dull. Painfully, and with buying a house looming, I sold/traded the GT350 and the ZR2 and bought a 2024 Ranger Raptor.
With only one vehicle being allowed in "the plan," the RR is absolutely terrific, fun no matter what road or road conditions and very usuable. Easily comfortable enough to be the daily driver, room for car seats/kids, no problem. Add a tonneau cover and you've got storage room for days.
With that being said though, if I had the $$, there is NO WAY I would have let the GT350 go. That is a car that everyone will regret selling one day, even if the only thing you do with it is maintain it and drive it on the occasional bright, sunny day. There are so very few vehicles on the road that are anywhere near its price range that can make you feel what you feel in that car. Whether it's just cruising downtown, a spirited, twisty back road jaunt, a quick blast through an on ramp to a highway, a quick blast through an off ramp from a highway, the looks it gets even at car shows with exotics around, the sound it makes at any rpm, the slick shifter, the incredible grip. Sorry, got all caught up there.
Best endorsement I can give is that if I hit the lottery tomorrow, I'd keep the RR and get another Oxford White with blue stripes 2019 GT350 as soon as the money hit my account...
