I spent the better part of the afternoon cutting and filing some 1/16" aluminum to build a set of brackets for the signature lux fog lights that will fit on US / NA version of the Ranger Raptor without any modifications to the plastic bumper mounting plate. Once i got it all figured out i had a chance to get on a teams meeting with the engineers and sales team out at Signature lux and discussed the dimensions with them so they could check their newest set of mounts to see if any additional modifications are going to be required before shipping to everyone who needs them!

Here are some pictures of the brackets i ended up making in my garage.

One of the coolest features of these fog lights is the wiring harness they provide... it allows for low and high beam fog lights... that is something i had never heard of before but it is SUPER cool! Video to follow once i get everything all put back together and buttoned up.

Cheers,
Kyle

How do you make and hold the adjust for up and down. The original mount from them have it. The replacement doesn’t. It is going to move when driving

I just received their new bracket. My truck is at the dealer getting cam phasers replaced. This is what they look like. It looks like the left hand side tab has prongs to lock into the heat sink. So I think they won’t rotate but you lose the screw adjuster for sure. Also looks like some little grub screws to stop rotation as well.

For my little fake brackets that I made, I have a bit of play if I loosen the screws and move the light up or down then retighten… I will get them set up below other drivers eye level and tighten them down from there, at which point they will not be adjusted further. I shook the crap out of the plastic plate with the light in it and it didn’t budge but before final install I plan to use some loctite threadlicker on the screws going into the light housing to ensure a snug and permanent fit.

I got those brackets as well and they will only work if you trim some plastic, that is why I decided to make my own to send them the measurements. They now have an even newer bracket that will fit based on the numbers I sent them. They are going to send me a set Thais week and if they fit perfectly they will send them out to everyone who already ordered lights and needs the updated brackets.

they need to put adjusting screws so you can put them in one time and adjust , and not have to playing with them

I just got my light the other day. I wonder which version of the brackets they came with?

they will move with vibration. the plastic and aluminum can?will flex over time and the lights will move. just relying on friction on the pivot isn't enough.

Use the appropriate sized serrated washer, it will lock them in place.

short term, yes but with vibration they will not hold. unless there is something to clamp the pivot rigid. it will still vibrate and wear into the light and/or bracket and droop again. just pinching the light between the mounting ears is not a tight connection and will fail.

I believe you’re missing the point, there is a stop pin (lower right hand photo) on both lights and once they’re screwed tight in-place they won’t move. The washer will lock the light unit in place so it won’t vibrate.

if the pin is missing, you only have to purchase a roll pin and install it in the vacant hole.🇺🇸
