I thought this was a a cool feature until I walked out of my office in the rain and found my windows down. I somehow triggered the command with my keys in my pocket.I'm more excited by this if it really is included. I miss being able to open the windows with my key fob. All my VW's could do it.![]()
We have a saying in the engineering world.I thought this was a a cool feature until I walked out of my office in the rain and found my windows down. I somehow triggered the command with my keys in my pocket.
FWIW, the manual seems to be for the NA market but not sure if there's different versions. It says "Note: Not all cab configurations available in all markets." right above the word supercab...
I just saw a youtube video from Australia showing a 2024 scab, it was a vid on a dealers lot. This isn't the video I watched (can't find it right now) but it shows a 6G scab, and also a single cab version. I hope they bring the scab to USA, else I'll be driving my 5G scab until the transmission blows up.FWIW, the manual seems to be for the NA market but not sure if there's different versions.
"2024 Ranger (TRD) Canada/United States of America, enUSA, Edition date: 202304, DOM" written on the bottom of each page. I assume DOM means domestic market.
Also I would think the Supercab is most popular here vs other markets if they are going to offer it anywhere.
That would really stink. Thankfully that never happened with our 3 VW's. I mostly just used the feature when approaching my car in a hot parking lot.I thought this was a a cool feature until I walked out of my office in the rain and found my windows down. Probably also not a thing....It also mentions a moonroof on page 114 and AUX switches on non-raptors (p 530)![]()
Interesting find, I read the whole manual last night but I missed this one.Probably also not a thing....

I think in the video I posted it talks about one of the models in the herd they are testing is a manual... not sure, I didn't really watch it all. They also get the hybrid where apparently the US won't, at least right now, which sucks.Interesting find, I read the whole manual last night but I missed this one.
I'm curious because while we knew that the supercab was already available in RoW configs (you can even use the build tool to price one out in south america, i think), i don't recall seeing moonroof, aux switches, or manual trans as available options in those markets.
Man, that truck would be the perfect first vehicle for my kid, so he can haul his dirt bike and MTB around (just put the steering wheel on the left). But I doubt we’ll ever see it in the US…Found it in a video, EU market.
In my vw’s I was always afraid that a window going down would be a 1-way tripThat would really stink. Thankfully that never happened with our 3 VW's. I mostly just used the feature when approaching my car in a hot parking lot.
