Coming from a 5G Ranger and a 24' full size Bronco this 6G Ranger is really quiet inside on the road.

Anyone else have the same experience?

Yep, traded my '24 Wrangler for my Ranger. Was using my motorcycle riding hearing protection (No-Noise) when I was driving over 30 minutes in the Wrangler. I liked the Wrangler, but just not as an only vehicle. The Ranger is definitely quieter.

25' Wildtrak here. Nicely quiet on the road. Added dynamat type thing on the front doors when upgrading 6x9 doors. The truck got noticeable quieter.
The days where im tired of the daily grind, i thank a quiet silent ride. Its a godsend.

I hear ya…it is mostly quiet…I really like that.

but I get a bit of wind noise from the rear upper drivers door - right by my left ear - which I wish wasn’t there….😤
You can try adding an extra seal on the vertical door gaps, there is a thread somewhere about it. I did and noticed a tiny improvement. I considered sound deadening the cabin but I really don’t want the extra dead weight. These trucks have very marginal payload capacity.

Way quieter than the wife's 2019 wrangler and my 04 ranger.

On the Superduty trucks a common improvement was to put 1/4" latex tubing inside the existing door seals.
My 2002 Superduty diesel was a very quiet truck with limo size seating, the 6" thick doors were solid and closed like an old Kelvinator. Yes my Ranger is quiet but I wouldn't say it's as quiet or more quiet than my old Superduty. One thing I noticed on a recent trip is how loud the rocks sound when coming loose from the tire tread and hitting the wheel well liners after being offroad. On the old SD you barely heard them.
On the Ranger you can hear it going thru the gears although I'm still not sure if that's real or artificial sound effects. On the SD you could hear the pleasant low hum of that 7.3 along with a slight turbo whistle when flooring it. Lord I miss that truck except for when it came time to park it anywhere.

That's why I kept mine....

Marginal?! As in “best of class”? You won’t find better in any mid-sized truck, or even many f150’s and even 250’s depending on configuration.
I think you are misreading what I said. All mid sized trucks have marginal payload, and wasting it with very heavy sound deadening material in the cab is just silly, especially considering that my RR has a rated PL of 1411 pounds.

I’m confident I’m not alone in saying that adding the marginal weight of sound deadening material is well worth it, especially considering the best-in-class payload that rivals many half-tons.

I totally agree. I sold Fords for many years and when the 5G Ranger returned, I was intrigued, but it felt unrefined to me. My 2025 XLT is impressive in how quiet and solid it feels. I'm very pleased with it.
