What tire pressure is everyone running in their Ranger Raptor? I just realize the app states optimal pressure 39 pounds and mines said it 47 pounds from the factory.

Vehicles are tested at the manufacturers required pressure on your door jamb. I always try to keep them there for safety reasons and longevity. Too high and you loose traction with these tires that belted sidewalls (truck tires). Too low and your mpg goes down. Thats just my personal preference.

Dealer delivered my RR with tires at between 47 & 49 PSI, failing to even check in their PDI.
I had no clue until I saw this on my fordpass. Now I keep at 39 PSI cold. The ride is much better, though I initially didn't know what to compare it to until lowering the tire pressure.

Mine are 47 psi also. Once engine break in is done I'm going to adjust tire psi. It's helping my keep my foot out of it and be easy on the throttle. It's dumb that they don't adjust it at the PDI. I guess it shows quality of work.

Hahahah. I got like 2k miles on my RR. Just aired them down today to 39 pounds after I noticed they were overinflated. Man what a difference. Thing rides like a lifted Cadillac now

I’d suspect they fill to 47 at factory because of loss that will occur during shipping, etc. Dealers charge nearly $1000 for Vehicle Prep and don’t do a thing more than wash it! I’ll be setting mine atv39 for best over all ride and handling.

I always double check my tires upon delivery and yup, these were set at 54lbs all around. Brought them down to 39 before I left the lot. Debating on playing around with lowering them to 36 if it will make any difference in ride quality and/or degredation of MPG.

They would have forgotten the antennae in the glove box, If I didn't mention it.
They also claimed the driver door hard-to-shut issue was no big deal.
Other than that, the dealer was great to work with during the process.

Mine were close to 50 psi at delivery. I adjusted them down to the recommended 39 psi. Wife has a 24 4runner, her tires were way over inflated at delivery. I had a 23 tacoma, its tires were way over inflated at delivery.

These were all from different dealers, it's not just Ford that overlooks the small details at customer turnover.

Mine were set to 41. Will lower to mid 30's after my flat tire had me check correct pressure. went up a rugged road to a mine on Saturday and got a slow leak. I even received an email stating low pressure. The pressure monitor allowed me to get off the dirt before total flat.

Mine were set to 47, already had a screw in one tire. My question is, where besides the app can you quickly see tire pressure?? The owners manual just says "use the information display or touchscreen." Cant find it anywhere on the touchscreen and the instrument cluster is just trip, the annoying af seat belt status, and fuel economy.
