30 seems very low to me. It’s a heavy vehicle and 30 would be on the low side for even a small hatch back

I run on the road at 39-40 cold. Offroad I’ll run it anywhere from 25-12 depending on the surface

Was surprised the dealer had mine at 40, but then figured I’d give it a try (thinking better mpg on pavement with less rolling resistance) and will lower when off-road.. My thoughts are because my truck is FX4 they put the door pressure at an off-road recommended psi

Hey T Ranger: I have the same problem with the bead lock capable wheels. I picked up a valve stem extender on a short (3' hose) that you screw on to the hard to get to valve stem and then you air through the hose: makes your issue solved!

2024 XLT FX4 2.3 running 35 cold.
Normally I would use the door pillar rating but came from dealer at 35. Just had Tires balanced and rotated at Discount Tire and they set 35 as well.
They normally set them at recommended door pillar label. I did not question it.
Tire wear appears good at 7k.
I have not looked at the side wall rating yet.

Dealer filled my 25 XLT tires to 38, sticker says 30 and the FordPass app says that 35 is recommended cold temp pressure. Take your pick.

39/40. 30 seems low.
I chalk tested my 37in jeep tires and ran them at 28 to have even wear across the tire and 13 when off roading. There’s nothing wrong with 30.

I've been pretty happy with 34psi for general day to day. I'll put them up to 39 for long road trips or heavy towing/hauling. The Raptor Assault school told me they target 32psi for their use.

I heard that Ford puts the tires at 40+ for shipping purposes. Dealership is supposed to lower pressure during make ready but many don't. My RR was delivered at 42-44. I lowered to 39 probably will try 36 for the summer.

Mine are at 39 cold. What's interesting is they have held that same pressure (have not added air) since I bought it in early December.

I have mine set at 30 psi cold pressure. But the truck seems to drive kind of spongy at 30 psi. Now I’m assuming that you can have a 95% confidence range. So I should be able to go all the way up to 31.5 and actually be in range. Is it all right to run it at 32 maybe.
I run my Lariat's tires at 40 psi cold

The pollen around here is pretty heavy and coats everything daily. I effectively do the chalk test daily when I drive down my driveway, and at 30psi my nokians aren’t putting the entire tread down (from memory maybe the outer blocks don’t touch). But to be fair when I get home the tires are warm and are more like 33 or so.
