Hey guys, I've been browsing for a while and figured out that I definitely want to lift the truck enough to clear 35" tires. I want to keep the stock beadlock capable wheels as well.

If I get the GOAT strut spacers, will I need to do anything to the UCA? I want to actually increase the off road capability of the truck and worry about straying too far from stock. I'm fine with trimming the crash bars too.

Has anyone done any work like this and has any suggestions? Thanks!

From what I understand, the goat kit may or may not be able to achieve proper alignment without an aftermarket UCA.

A perch collar will work, but you will sacrifice some pre-load and have a slightly stiffer ride.

I have been waiting for a solid top hat option similar to SDI's offer for the F150 Raptors. https://apollooffroad.com/products/...d-raptor-front-bucket-assembly-sdi-ma-2291001

Springs have caused several failures of shock buckets on the F150 Raptors, and I don't want to risk that. My two cents.

for those who already lifted and got alignment: how much castor did you get? In seems like stock height will give about 3-4 deg.

While castor has little impact during offroading, it does impact highway stability and tire clearance.

No first hand experience, but Goat claims that no UCA needed on 2nd gen RR if lift is kept below 2ins. That said a uCA might help get a better alignment, just not absolutely necessary. Not sure if this helps, but a couple videos on YT from The Topher show he fit 35’s with just a 1-in Goat lift using the stock lockring capable wheels. The offset in those wheels seem to help keep rubbing to a minimum.

I went with goat off-road 2 in in the front and 1 in in the rear. 35 11.5x17 tires. Plus 30 on the wheels.
Pad it aligned to factory specs no problem. I haven't trimmed anything or modified the crash bars and off-road it really hard. Nothing has ever touched or rubbed. Drives just like stock

RPG has released one, OE replacement or with a 1" lift, if this is what your looking for: RPG Top Hat

I wish RPG (or someone) offer at least 1.5” lift option. That would've been perfect
