UAW Strike moved my build date

When I said one week, it was in relation to them finally getting adjusted. Last adjustments were around 8/12/23.

Now that they have been adjusted, each week of the strike should move the dates right 1 week to match.

My order confirmation was

I ordered in May and recently got the VIN and a build date for the week of Oct 2nd. Still hasn't changed though I am guessing it will sooner than later.

When did you receive your build date? My order confirmation was the same day as you? Might need to give dealer a shout!

Just checked again, my build date moved a week, now it's 10-16-23

I got it from my dealer a few weeks ago. I really only got the VIN which I used to look up the info on the Ford.ca site. After checking this morning, it looks like my original build scheduled for the week of Oct 2nd has been pushed back to Oct 30th. It was inevitable, I suppose. ?

I’m in Canada. We aren’t able to do any sort of tracking until we are issued a VIN. Mine was issued on Sept 15 with a build date of 10/23. I just checked and it is now 11/06. I fully anticipate this will keep moving as long as the strike is on

My Build Date was supposed to be today! Had my wife's Escape in for service this morning and my salesman knew that, and said every day of the strike moves the build date back 2 days! It'll be a while...?

Yup same as you now too. Ford just made a new offer to the UAW that includes job protections for evs so we will see how that goes
