People are confusing actual temperature issues with just air flow movements. The back seat and entire cabin does not heat and cool and different temperatures, its too small of a space. The guy with the fans is the only real solution if its about getting air moving at speed around the cabin.

The reviewers say it is fragile and flops around, what is your feedback for use in a RR? Did you research any other brands? Thanks,

The ring that goes around the headrest mounting pole is smooth plastic. So you have smooth plastic on chrome and it will move. I run with my headrest at the lowest position so it pretty well locks them in place. If I wanted them to not move at all I could add a strip of rubber or foam tape to the smooth plastic, but the backseat passengers move them around to get the airflow where they want it so the stock setup works fine.

This is the second set of these I have purchased. I have a 23 Bronco that suffers from the same problem of no air movement in the backseat (not sure why Ford is not a fan of people in the back seats of 4 doors in the modern era of vehicles) and that is why I got them originally. There are lots of different brands out there with different mounting styles. I settled on these because they had the ball mount that attaches to the bracket that attaches to the headrest. I figured if the headrest mount was a problem I could hook the ball up to something. If you have smaller people in the back there is a brand that has a bigger on off button.

So now I have them in the RR and the Bronco and the people who get car sick because of no air movement don't get car sick in these vehicles.

I guess the cheaper solution would have been to get rid of the family that has to ride in the back.😂😂

I could see this as a possibility for trips with the pups.

They fit absolutely perfect. Though, I am a little disappointed in the scarce amount of air that blows to the backseat given there are no middle vents.
I don't know if these will help a lot, but I guarantee they will be better than what got back there to begin with. My Huskey-mixed pups will take whatever they can get.

Thank you I saw those for the Bronco and was wondering if they would work. Appreciate you following up for
This was my solution in the Bronco and now in the Ranger Raptor. Keeps the adult children content with actual air movement.

I think by blocking some part of the vents that go to the feet area in the front would help push more air to these in the rear.

I bought these after seeing them, thinking it may slow my wifes complaints of how cold the backseat is when she rides back there. It did not work.

I didn't actually check to see how much airflow comes out of these, although after installing, cranking the fan to the highest setting and turning on only the lower feet vents, there is almost no airflow out of the rear floor vents. These extended vents are a nice idea, however, they won't do anything if no air comes out to begin with.
