ProCal tune dealer installed this morning. I could tell the tune was "learning" the truck was running 93 octane fuel. When leaving the dealer, the truck didn't seem to be much different power and torque wise, 30 minutes later it was definitely pulling harder based on the butt dyno. I imagine it will continue to learn new parameters and improve even more over time.

Definitely loving the improved shift points in Sport mode. Only 500 miles on the truck so still babying it for a bit longer.
I didn't want to admit this, but I can't tell much of a difference. How long does it take to "learn" all the things, you think?

Have you put it in sport and opened it up?

Agree with others, that putting it in “sport” mode made the tune more apparent. The shifting on mine was obviously different and torque felt stronger immediately. I’m about 150miles post-tune and things seem stable. It doesn’t turn the truck into a corvette but it definitely gives more “punch” than stock when in “sport” mode.

Someone in another thread said it takes a few weeks for maximum power to develop. I don't know if that's true or not, just what I read.

You may want to also verify that the tune is truly installed by hooking the ProCal unit back up to the ODB2 port and check the software version. I think it should have "FP" in the software name for Ford Performance.

You could also try buying 91 or 93 at a different location than you normally do. I've often wondered if some 91/93 pumps are really pumping what they say they are, especially at little mom and pop stations. Or, if at a remote station if the 91/93 is old since they may not sell a bunch between deliveries.

Just some thoughts.

I have it in Sport quite a bit, but haven't gone WOT yet. I usually don't do that unless I have to. I wish I had done a 0-60 before/after, but I'm really not that worried about it.

I checked when I left the dealer and it said it had the performance tune on it. I'd triple check, though. I've only had the tune on for six days and haven't driven a ton, so I'll reserve judgement.

That's not very data analytical of you sir. I'd expected a full spread sheet with 100 0-60 runs with all conditions and variables in multiple charts and graphs.

Any more promo codes for ford performance website? I'd like to use up my points if I can get a discount also. Might wait out for Memorial day sales.

Once you’re signed into your account, SHOP525, should get you 20% off the ProCal tune.

Awesome. I tried that earlier, but I was not signed in.

2.5% on Rakuten as well. Going to add installation and see if they honor the $112 price.

Just bought mine on the Ford site for my '25 RR. I was able to use the discount code and my FordPass Rewards. I added the installation and having it delivered to my local dealer for pickup. I'll need to call them and setup the installation appointment. I noticed that my other dealer closer to me was not in the list so I hope the list of dealers we can choose when ordering actually honors the $112 installation. Attached is a snapshot of my totals.

$112 is good for a dealer install. Took me 6 weeks to even find a dealer to install it, and they charged $150.
