I got the notification yesterday but i have auto updates disabled. I prefer to know ahead of time before I update. And unfortunately, you cant see before you update. And apparently its pretty vague even after you update. At least from the fordpass app. Maybe more info in the truck? I’ll have to wait until i can just sit for a minute, i guess.

Went ahead and accepted the update. It’s downloading now…

20minutes and still just doing the download… based on what it said, I wouldn’t have thought it would be a big download. Even if it wasn’t a great signal where i’m at. Hopefully it either continues after i turn off the truck or i can continue later

Is this the same as software update 6.2.0? I got 6.2.0 on Apri-21 for "more reliable and robust comm link for connected experience". Is ECG-* a whole different set of software I need to track? Or is there just one OS version and everything included underneath that? Thanks!

I got the update today too, it is the first update since we got the truck last November. My F150 has had 12 updates this year. On that Forum, a guy provided the link on Ford's site to see your update history (you need to have a log in with Ford):

Did anyone have issues with the update not completing?

Mine downloaded but never completed. It now shows that there are no available updates but that the latest one did not complete. Some searching shows various ways to "resolve" this but figured I would check here first. I have had auto updates on for a week with the truck connected to my home wifi with no changes.

This is in a 24 Ranger Raptor

i wonder if you can go to the dealer and have them complete the update manually?

Yes the dealer can manually update Sync .

Something to look forward to once I’ll be back home in 2 days…. Haven’t had an update since I bought the truck October last year. Exciting times ! ?
