The Cobb is going to be a direct replacement without any modifications. The Wagner is slightly larger. They are both bar and plate core designs and should have similar efficiency if the core densities are similar (haven't seen anyone post pictures of them to confirm. The Wagner is cheaper and has an embossed Raptor logo

As @Mad_Motorhead did confirm, he removed the shutters instead of trimming their surround and is an option I was considering too. I park mine in a garage so not worried about warmup times in general. Leaving the motor attached to the harness prevents any codes etc.

The grill shutters aren't for the radiator, they are for fuel economy. I still want to add the shroud to direct more direct air into the core, but even without the recovery time is way better than stock intercooler.

Interesting, since the one on the CVF site states it will fit, in the description. I guess it's a wait-n-see situation for the 2.7L owners.

I guess I should've asked them when I asked about Ranger Raptor 3.0L. (Intercooler in Feb..Hot & Cold pipe kit not long after..downpipes may be on the way)

I'm going to put the link to the Factory Bronco 2.7L intercooler as listed on Ford OEM parts site.

If you check under 'fitment' it shows for both Ranger & Bronco.

It only states 2.3L for Ranger, but if you look at Bronco it states for BOTH the 2.3L and 2.7L, which is leading me to believe that it is in fact the same intercooler. It doesn't mean that Aftermarket 'will' fit, but the chances are it should.

I saw it at SEMA this year, looks very nice and the best is that you can use the stock pipes. Install should not take more than 30min.
