Buy out of state, do not pay ADM. Dealers near me were charging ADM or my favorite lifetime guaranteed window tint for $500- 1000. None were willing to deal on Raptors or V6 Lariats. I started my out of state search increasing the distance 500 miles at a time. I found one in Provo for $55K but it sold as I was negotiating with my salesman. But I knew I was on the right track. After a couple of vehicles being sold before I called I found another with $2K off but my luck it was sold the day I called. Luckily the salesman called the next day to say the deal fell though and it was available. I corrected him, it was no longer available as I was buying it. Chuck Speath Ford in Sleepy Eye, MN is a great dealership, no adds, no BS charges, straight arrow pricing. Much better dealer experience than any dealer I contacted in the Houston area.
Don't be afraid to shop out of state for better deal.

I made the deal via email and calling but I ended up driving 4 hours for the Ranger Raptor I wanted, color/graphics/beadlock/bed liner. No mark up. But it was definitely worth it. The drive home was all smiles lol

After all the mark up + tax title +license and finance, it's going to cost me over $70k. Should I even bother?
I say buy what you want AND can afford. I never even considered an RR when I bought my Ranger. I drove a 2WD Lariat and a 4WD STX. The STX felt better to me. No, it’s not a Raptor but it didn’t have to be. I financed $26k after trade and couldn’t be happier. If you can afford 70k, get the RR. But if you can’t don’t put yourself in the hole thinking it’s your only choice.

You got 26s already being listed at 2k under. Tacoma TRD Pros are being offered at 3-4k off MSRP. This isn't an adm market anymore for 99% of vehicles.

Good price !

I am still trying to figure out if those interior pics are accurate.
That is another one using Stock images showing the code red accents are gone.
If they are not gone, then someone at Ford went to a whole lot of trouble to remove the all the code red accents for nothing, and leave everything else in color, like the gauges the center display, the seat belt buckles etc. etc are all still showing in the color. So, it's not a simple image filter.
Very odd, that nothing is out there yet to verify what is happening with the interior.
But those same stock images are showing up all over the net in 2026 Raptor listing.

Build and price still isn't on the website either, so 🤷‍♂️

SoCal market is pretty brutal...my condolences. They want $10K over, but no one actually pays that (I hope).

I believe I paid $4K over list in Escondido. Was not worth it in my opinion to jump thru extra hoops driving or flying out of state or calling 100 different dealers. Without getting into specifics...$4K does not translate to much labor time for me.

How much do you value your time?

They tried to charge me 66k I drove off the lot at 60k cash. MSRP was something like 58.9k. I only paid over the MSRP because they added a spray in bed liner that wasn't on the MSRP and gave me some better floor liners. Picked it up in Arlington, TX. A different dealer had said "Are you aware of the name sake Mark up" when I told him I was looking for one. I didn't even bother responding to him because I used to sell cars and there is no such thing as name sake mark up...if there was it would be on the MSRP... These dealerships feel entitled to the right to be greedy, but remember they also would rather sell a car than not.... But the truck is a heck off a lot of fun and worth every penny.

Build and price will not go live until production of 2026 Rangers starts according to Tim at Long MacArthur Ford.

I don't mind ordering, I have been looking at the market every day. I haven't been able to find one that isn't marked up near me.
I did a review of all Western region dealerships within 750 miles of me a back in August. Just about ALL big city and large chain dealerships were anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000 over invoice. Portland area had one dealership wanting $15,000 over invoice. Dealerships along the coast, and in So Cal were among the absolute highest. Smaller inland dealerships generally had the best non-markup pricing as a rule whenever they had a Raptor, but they appeared to be limited in stock to whatever Ford set them as dealer stock. Smaller, small town non-chain dealerships in ID, UT, NV and WY generally had the best prices. Personally, I went with a ruby red Lariat 2.7; it does everything I need, and if I decide to buy a Raptor one day, its going to be the Raptor R.

A local Ford dealer near me (Key Ford of Exeter) has an Azure Gray RR for 2k under MSRP.

There are dealers across the US found on a quick Trucar search showing a 2026 RR, some with stock numbers, at various prices, with stock photos showing the stubby e-shifter and interiors stripped of Raptor performance trim, as cc1999 mentioned. I did not find any dealers stating "actual vehicle photos." Don Hattan Ford in Augusta, KS, lists two 2026 XLTs in transit, one at $2K below MSRP in Avalanche, one at MSRP in Carbonized Gray. The window sticker blend date is 1 25 for Avalanche and 1 27 for the Carbonized Gray.

I think just about every dealer in my area, from small towns to big cities all have Ranger Raptors in stock today, and none of them around here are adding any ADMs.
Point being these are not difficult to come by at all now.

A year ago, or even possibly 6 months ago that may not have been the case.
Back in spring of 24 when they first came out I paid a couple grand over for my 24' and drove 10 hours round trip to get it. That was only because I wanted it and I wanted it right then.

My 25 model that I bought in October was not all that difficult to track down at all. I had at least 6 in the color I wanted all within a 300 mile radius, all were MSRP or less. The only thing I had to work a little bit at was getting top dollar for 2023 Land Rover that I traded in on it. Which I did get. If not for the trade in being not all that common and trading down over 20K in value, it would have been a piece of cake to just have bought one and had it shipped or went and got it.

It should not be difficult at all to buy a RR for MSRP or less in any color the OP wants.
Probably can't buy in CA, but tons of dealers around the country can and will ship it to your front door.

This black is a dark cave. I'm ready for a lighter color interior like something in a desert sand.
