The 2.7L will have the plastic oil pan. The 2.3L is metal.

I got my personalized plate today:

Ford Ranger What did you DO TO your 6G Ranger today? 🧰 🛠️ ⚙️ 🧽 IMG_6963

I checked on-line when I ordered the truck months ago and this plate was available.
I figured someone with a 2026 Raptor (F-150/Bronco/Ranger) was going to snag it in the months I had to wait for it to be built.

I got LUCKY...!!!!

I installed my auto start/stop eliminator today. 4D Tech - it was on sale on Prime Day.
Great! Any challenges or tricks to removing the existing plug & installation of 4D Tech device? I've tried unsuccessful 2X but not able to get my fingers in right spot to depress existing lock tab & remove... not yet.

I did this the other day. The clip on the back i had to depress with one finger and use my other hand to wiggle the connector.

I pushed the back clip with one finger and with my other hand squeezed the left and right sides as I pulled and wiggled on the connector.

I had to look at the connector on the 4D Tech one to figure out how the little button/lever thing depresses. On a lot of connectors, it's a tab that's free on the outside edge, but on this one, it's not the outside edge that moves. It's a little past the edge. It seemed to function more like a button than a lever. So if you're pressing on the very edge, it won't work.

This image shows the opposite side and doesn't show the button you have to press, but imagine the placement of the markings on the opposite side of the plug.

Found this photo of the connector elsewhere. The part you want to push on is circled.
