Played in forscan again.

Turned this on. Also turned off eco mode in the transmission. I never use it anyways and always have to double click the button to skip it so now i just go from normal to sport

Installed a cover on the fuel filler neck. Perfect fit. Totally unnecessary but it bugged me.

i love that cover. now it doesn't feel like dirt and junk is going in the tank.

The gas filler flapper is a dust/debris cover. The actual valve that seals the vent system is below the visible flapper. The valve below the dust flapper is the one that eventually will become sticky and create a CEL for us. Went through this with the former F150.

but with how windy and how much sand blows around where i live, i like the cover. everytime i open the gas filler door, i have sand in there. i don;t know whats under the filler neck flapper but i don;t want sand going in there

After work, I did the first oil change on my truck. Just want to say thanks to this forum and the ppl on it for the heads up on the ronin valve. It was one of my first purchases after buying the truck and Glad I did. Future oil changes will be easier and a lot less messy.

Finally got around to installing Rival skid plates.

Transmission and gas tank. I have the FX4 package which includes OEM bash plate, engine, and transfer case steel plates. So only needed to add these two.

Install was simple. Back out some bolts. Bolt new plates on.

Only downside is losing 1” of clearance, but at least it’s protected. My frame braces were pretty hammered, the transmission plate covers them well and will take the hit first.

I do need to lift this if I do more wheeling here in the south. There are some gashes from the Ozarks as souvenirs.

Those braces are rock magnets! They are probably the only thing I really dislike about my truck. I don't plan to lift but I am going to go to a 255/75R17 tire that will net me a half inch increase.

I had a 2021 Ranger Tremor that I traded for an F-150. Loved the F-150 overall, but didn't love its size at times.
