My Ranger and I sought refuge in the fire station while a nasty storm cell passed over. In the end there wasn't any hail so didn't need to be indoors, but it was nice not having to risk it.

I would also like to clarify that I'm a member of the station and was there doing some work. I didn't just see a random fire station with its doors open and drive inside 😅
Mine fits in our's too.

Looks great! Is that enough lift to run 35s?
From GOATs website, Planning to run 34s or narrow 35s? This spacer gives you more compression clearance than perch lifts, plus extra droop for better traction off-road. It’s also ideal when paired with a 1" or 1.5" rear spacer to retain proper rake and stability.

Will spacers and perch collars void warranty? And putting larger tires? As the Dealer may say you have altered the stock components?

Spacers don't change the shock stroke or position once you recalibrate the ride height where perch collars will. I'm not worried about the warranty because they would need to prove the spacers caused a shock issue. Go to Goats website they have all this information.

Carried one my recumbents to the local club ride.

I took the lightning r84 today. Usually I ride a lightning p38.

It was nice to do a club ride because the route is different then the normal group rides. And they ride a little faster. Even though it's for newer people and older folks, it stays around 15/16 mph versus the group rides that generally do 12/13 and are slower.

A p38, not mine. Mine is dark green.

The p38 has a hitch mounted carrier but since the r84 is all carbon fiber, I can use the hitch mount because of the upright rubbing the frame because it's wider so the r84 has to go in the bed.

Either way, the ranger carried the bike and cycling junk to amd from the ride in style
