Picked up my XLT end of June. MSRP was $48,975. I paid $45,057.

I was going to order one from Grainger then I spotted this one inbound at a nearby dealer on their website. It was the exact truck I would have ordered at almost the same price Grainger was going to give me. I put a deposit on it before it arrived.

A few of you got crazy deals of 10k+ off. What did you do to get it that low? Just start from a lowball offer, repeatedly asking for a lower price? Was this in person, email, etc? Over the course of a week or in a single day?

Thank in advance!
I was specifically looking for a 2025 Lariat since those were thousands off the 2026s and had more features.

I had been eyeing one for a few days, saw it was still available on a random Tuesday, and went up to the dealer to drive it. Basically, showed I was interested and gave them an offer that I would take it on the spot.

What's key for me is dropping hints about the type of buyer I am. I know what I want before I walk in. And I won't haggle for every penny.

Dealer either picks up on it and wants to do business or I walk.

At the end of the day, we have to understand as consumers that all we're buying is a depreciating pile of metal and plastic.

Well, you bought a Lariat, so there's some leather too.
